Sala Comacina is a small town with a harbour on the south-west part of Lake Como. The main marina of Sala Comacina is next to Piazza Matteotti, and from here you have lovely views across Lake Como to Isola Comacina and to the mountains beyond.
The village of Ossuccio is just a few kilometres to the east, it has a picturesque historic centre. By boat from Lenno you can visit the Villa Balbianello, an impressive palazzo used as a location in famous films including Star Wars.
