The Writer’s Nest is the former stonemason’s refuge, built at the end of the 19th century, inside a stone quarry. The writer and owner Giuseppe Guin placed his novels in this place, full of stories and legends.

Work spaceThe lower area of Faggeto Lario, located directly on the lake, hosts a welcoming bar and restaurant overlooking the pier and the boat dock, offering a charming and convivial atmosphere. Continuing along the road, you will find the renowned Lido di Faggeto, an ideal place to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the lake: here you can swim in its crystalline waters, relax in the sun and enjoy a drink in total relaxation, immersed in a unique setting.
For a unique experience that is accessible to everyone, you can rent a self-driving boat, which can be used even without a boating license, which allows you to freely explore the lake and its wonders.
From the public dock, you can also take your car to move independently along the lake’s roads, or opt for the convenient public boat service, which connects directly to the center of Como, offering a scenic and stress-free journey.
